Allegiant Air has just announced that Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) will now serve as its seasonal base of operations. With this announcement came 11 new nonstop destinations to the 6 that it already had. To celebrate the new venture, new nonstop routes will have have fares starting as low as $42*!

  1. Kansas City, MO – beginning May 3, 2017 with fares as low as $49*
  2. Austin, TX – beginning May 4, 2017 with fares as low as $56*
  3. Cleveland, OH – beginning May 12, 2017 with fares as low as $42*
  4. Louisville, KY – beginning May 24, 2017 with fares as low as $65*
  5. Peoria, Illinois – beginning May 24, 2017 with fares as low as $69*
  6. Columbus, OH – beginning May 25, 2017 with fares as low as $65*
  7. Springfield, MO – beginning May 25, 2017 with fares as low as $59*
  8. Indianapolis – beginning May 26, 2017 with fares as low as $56*
  9. Pittsburgh – beginning May 31, 2017 with fares as low as $42*
  10. Washington, D.C. – beginning May 31, 2017 with fares as low as $59*
  11. Newark, N.J. – beginning June 6, 2017 with fares as low as $49*

The impact of these new flights is expected to bring tremendous growth to the Emerald Coast with the most significant one-time increase in direct connections to date.

Allegiant Air customers typically pay less than half the cost of round-trip fares on competing airlines.
